Viewed more poly and epoxy rebar for floor slabs. This process is ongoing till all areas are completed. Viewed fire stops at top of wall. Mineral wool pack with spray applied Hilti firestop product. Approved per design. Foam product: Staycell One Step 255 spray Foam Insulation is being used to insulate at the precast. This product will also be applied over the areas that have Cafco Blazeshield fireproofing installed. Technical data received for the product, of which it does not specify the foam product being installed to the fireproofing. More data/documentation and approval by Manufacture needed for this application.

Viewed ceiling framing and in bathrooms. Framing is pending sprinkler inspection, Hvac and Electrical inspection. Re-schedule framing inspection for these areas. Viewed gypsum layers on the rated walls , Contractor to verify the rating of storage room . If walls are rated for two hours, then a ceiling of equal rating is needed. Verify with designer and address as needed. Inspection required if ceiling is to be installed.Trades inspections for this room will also be needed.

Hard lid ceilings in the Bloomington police area approved, pending an access panel installation to the one ceiling that was missed...contractor aware of the ceiling where it’s needed. The hard lids in the public bathrooms and metro transit bathrooms are pending electrical, Hvac, and sprinkler inspections prior to covering...contractor aware of the inspections needed at these areas.

1) firestop the piping at two outside 2hour rated walls in storage under escalators. 2) add layer of gypsum above sprinkler pipes in storage room of single gypsum layer wall at horizontal shaft assembly location, to rate wall and maintain shaft rating. 3) fire safe at top of rated separation walls. 4) the added wall to extend Barns and Noble is now to be rated for 1hour. Firestops to be completed at penetrations on both sides of walls, and fix wall as needed to maintain rating. 5) firestop cooridor wall of electrical room. 6) install the steel tie in in the Barns and Noble space that shores up the cooling door. 7) EM lighting test and alarm system test with coiling door needed. 8) complete all bathrooms, and lower the long counter to the women’s bathroom to meet accessibility. Complete the entry area/ vestibule. 9) temp approvals needed by all inspections trades.

1) firestop at top of new walls built that bump out Barns and Noble Back of house exit. 2) install exit sign above the door. 3) provide grab bars to Bloomington police detention room toilet, ( room B) 4)guard does not have top and side railing installed...tempered guard at top of escalators to hold a 200# load, provide verification by installing company. 5) firestop penetrations and top of wall on the west side of the horizontal shaft at inside of storage room. 6) install beam support to the coiling door where shoring is set up in Barns and Noble. Fireproof the structural steel as needed. 7) complete fire testing of system. These items need to be completed for the temp to open this area up to the public, with exception of number 6, which needs to be completed for full final of permit.

The guardrailing at top of escalators is in the process of a top cap being ordered and installed on 10/11/19. Verbal to contractor to remove the old and styrofoam in the ceiling. Framing approved. Temp heaters installed in the ceiling to keep sprinkler piping from freezing. Heaters will be replaced with other type of heating units. Nfill opening of the elevator shaft at the removed door is temporary, until the new door unit comes in and is installed and inspected. The wall is a shaft liner with 1st layer of gypsum installed. Contractor to provide pictures of fire caulking at perimeter with Hilti FS one Max. ... approved to install second layer.

Door pressure is adjusted to meet required opening force, but the HVAC system is not in operation at this time. Once the building is pressurized the doors will not function as they are now adjusted for. The opening force is hard to open... adjustments will be needed. The sprinkler curtain wash at the front rated glass and the rated front entry doors is incomplete. Contractor is working with owners on the completion of system. The first set of doors at entry are not rated doors, and the sprinkler curtain wash equivalencies need to be located at the inner rated doors of the rated wall. Parking lot second lift and striping is yet to be completed.

Pressure Balancing has been done and system is now balanced. Tested all exiting doors and they fall within the code requirements for opening force, (section 1008.1.3). The entry doors are as close as possible to code requirements being used for exiting as well, since doors are fire rated. Approved
