Talked withcontractor about the horizontal 1 hour assembly that makes up the ceiling in the B.O.H. Passageway that is within the Walgreens buildout storage area. There is a lot of stored items that were thrown up there and damaged the integrity of the assembly. The stored items will need to be removed and the gypsum that has popped loose and can be viewed in the passageway, needs to be refastened and re-taped. The gypsum that is viewable above the assembly from within the Walgreens space will need to be fixed / replaced where it was damaged to maintain the integrity of this assembly. This is a condition that needs to be corrected before any final is given to this buildout. Contractor to address this issue to any parties that are involved with this buildout if this does not fall within the scope of the bid work and make sure it is corrected and inspected by city inspector prior to the building of any wall to seal up that area.
