2nd floor - partial pass for remodel existing guest rooms. A. 2 bed units have 36 inch between the beds minimum distance. OK. B. Accessible rooms are closed from public due to remodeling. C. No emergency lighting on the existing exit signage through out the hotel ? D. Provide partial final electrical inspection and fire marshal inspection for 2nd floor standard rooms only, prior to occupying these rooms .

Rooms 915,916,913, 922,931,904 are still not ready for turnover. All remaining rooms on 9th floor are approved for turnover and public use pending fire marshal approval and contractor to go through the rooms with double queen beds and adjust the bed spacing for 36”... (headboards to be adjusted to a min. 33” to provide the proper bed spacing.) Exiting signage for the rooms are being installed as inspection is in progress, all signage to be in each room for turnover.

Floors 6 through 10 of the accessibility units viewed... 1) all holes from any abandoned plumbing or electrical needs to be metal plated on the underside and filled with concrete from above. Or an approved firestop system must be attained from a firestop design company, (ie. Hilti or 3M). 2) Any and all piping going through floor and roof must be firestopped with firecaulking all around piping with a caulking depth of 3/4”. 3) tub traps to be installed and the opening must be firestopped through floor. The large Hole opening is to be filled with mineral wool full depth, and a 18 gage steel plate to be adhered / fastened to slab. Fire caulking to be done around pipe and around the edges of the adhered metal plate. This assembly was a Hilti assembly designed for tub trap openings. Call for reinspection

Contractor not ready for inspection. Went over fire collars and installed at the toilet with contractor. Also went over grab bar requirements for the bathtubs with the contractor. Reinspection is required.
