As per the corrections called out at previous framing inspection, the nail plates and fire stops are installed at the plumbing locations. The 2 water lines on 2nd floor near the shaft wall framing need insulation and firestops, this will be viewed at next inspection.

Viewed progress of elevator shaft, it is incomplete and to be reinspected when gypsum and firestops completed.
Other shafts completed at second floor and firestops at penetrations.
One wall of the mechanical supply shaft has surface patches installed as rock to rock fastened. This is incorrect and the patches need to be covering the holes, and fastened to the framing. Reinspection needed.
Outlets installed in mechanical shaft walls, city will access this issue.
Bottoms are being sealed up at shafts, firestops are needed.
Reinspection is needed prior to closing shafts up.

He two mechanical and supply shafts on the west side of second floor have low voltage going into the shaft that needs to be removed and rerouted. The electrical boxes at the outside layer of shaft need to be protected withputty pads and the low voltage rings cannot be used and to be replaced with electrical boxes and also putty pack protected. All as per IBC section 714.3.2 sub.2
Reinspection of this is required prior to covering withouter layer of gypsum.

Viewed piping running through the 1st level of exit stairway that does not serve the stairway.
Contractor ran piping through since he could not go through elevator shaft.
Correction to be completed for this is to enclose all of this piping in a horizontal shaft that is rated the same as the stairshaft, and shaft should fully enclose from wall around piping and to ceiling... all penetrations to be firestopped and inspections needed.
The open area under that stairway also has to have a guard installed around it to comply with the accessibility code requirements per section 307.4

Went over occupancy signage for this building. Push open door or panic hardware is required for the meeting rooms on second floor.

1) Ambulatory stalls in all bathrooms have the hook higher than 48” max height. Install hook at 48”
2) Escape room electrical to be wire it at the conductors and enclosed in a plate covered junction box.
3) the extensions of the handrails at all stairs does not comply with the 12” requirements per code.
4) handrail mounted at stair of upper level has to have the handrail ends returned either to the guard or the floor.
5) guardrail is needed to be installed at the opening to the upper level stair, and a guard to enclose the under stair at the back exit.
6) The guard at the upper level patio needs to be at 42” in height.
7) add directional exit sign that directs to front and back exit and mounted on or near the column by the front entry counter.
8) balancing report to be submitted to HVAC inspector prior to final occupancy.
9) the adjoining door to the hotel is to remain locked, this building is still under construction and entry is prohibited by anyone that is not authorized but that project superintendent.
10) electrical 3rd party inspection reports to be submitted to electrical inspector prior to final occupancy.

Conditional approval given for this facility and owner to stock all goods, train staff, and have a friends and family opening.
The laser tag game area is not approved for use as it is not completed and fully inspected and systems tested. No use for this room until this area has been approved by inspections.

As per a conversation between plan review and architect of which was just relayed to inspector... the bumper guards can stay in place and there is not a clear pathway needed for the exits. These bumper car courts are being viewed as amusement and is allowed to remain per the code requirements .
Approved to open to public for all areas Except, the laser tag and the areas that are to be future buildout of the escape rooms.
The bicycle racks to be installed and in place for the full permit final.

The outstanding issues are resolved, duct detector is not needed, and fire has got the matrix for the smoke machine. EH will follow up with the verbal corrections. Building final is approved pending the fire inspection final to be completed by inspector.
Grading permit to be closed out by utilities.
