Riley Rose MOA: This project is a tenant improvement of an existing retail store in the Mall of America. The scope of work includes: Demo of existing owner improvement as noted within plans. New non-bearing partitions to divide the owner space into sales area, restrooms and stock room. Ceiling is a suspended system as shown. Restrooms to include toilet and lavatory in each. Plumbing to also include a mop sink, drinking fountain (Hi-Low) and electric water heater. Electrical Service (400 AMP, 277/480 volts) distributed via new panels and transformer; new light and power distribution. New air handling units (3) and duct work throughout. New storefront system including frames and glazing to match mall standards. Interior finishes to include floor finishes, paint and metal panels.

Floor has been bead blasted and reveals some concrete patching to maintain the 2 hour floor rating. Call for inspection once floor has been patched with concrete and prior Adex overlay.

1) fireproofing to columns and beams to be corrand installed to original depth with approved patching fireproofing. The lighter patched areas need to be stripped off due to an added taping compound added to mix that has not been tested with the mix application and cannot be done to the fireproofing mix. 2) the plastic piping through the floor above needs to be firestopped with mineral wool and intumescent fire caulked to maintain the assembly rating. 3) any holes in the floor pan above also need to be firestopped properly... mineral wool to be installed in voids with a 16 gage plate attached to pan decking and fire caulking around plate to pan decking. 4) any through floor penetrations with cast piping need to have mineral wool stuffed to fill annular space around pipe.

Fireproofing is patched and approved. Framing at columns and storefront approved. No covering storefront till inspected by electrical and fire. Holes in the ceiling/floor filled with hard pack miner wool and covered with 16 gage metal... approved. Plastic piping in rear of buildout to be fire stopped with mineral wool and a collar at the 4” piping.

1) rear door to have smoke gasket seal installed, and closer with door to shut and latch on its own. Complete all remaining misc work to space prior to final inspection. Approved to stock and set up space, final inspection is required prior to occupying and opening to public.
