Framing of bathrooms... Electrical,plumbing, HVAC, and sprinkler inspections need to be completed prior to framing inspection. Through floor piping to be firestopped as well for this inspection. Mineral wool and spray applied firestop to be completed at the stairwell of 4th floor on the walls where cavity between the walls and roof are hollow. The fireproofing installed to mineral wool inside the stairway is not a tested and approved assembly.

Firestops and framing....Approved to cover bathroom walls at each floor. Ceilings are not to be covered till framing and the remaining firestops have been looked at by inspector and sub trades inspections.

Viewed progress of fire stop at the 4th floor wall to ceiling of stair shaft, this is still being worked on to complete. Firestop at laundry tub of second floor viewed and approved. Went over accessibility and parking areas. Contractor had questions about bringing in furniture to set up offices. When sprinkler is live and active, furniture can be brought in as long as system stays active.

Items to be completed and/or correction. 1) install boiler for snow melt. 2) mechanical inspections needed, unit start ups to also be performed along with damper activations. 3) metal angles at through floor ducting need to be larger to cover the floor openings, also firstop equivalent to a 1hr assembly to be installed between ducts at each floor. 4) CO2 detectors to be installed as required as per mechanical code requirements for gas powered equipment. 5) Cane detection guards to be installed at first level in stairways. 6) column protection to be installed to all exposed columns. 7) elevator final needed, UHaul is responsible to get a phone line into building. 8) exit sign needed at each floor in the south most E/W corridor 9) complete grates at sidewalk for roof drainage overflow, complete striping and handicap parking signage. 10) install handicap signage at each bathroom at each level 11) fireproofing to be patched in in areas where it is missing and also where coverage is shy. The tube steel supports at the beams at the display windows need to be fire protected as they appear to be the main support for the beams at each level. 12) all trades inspections to be completed

Approved for temp occupancy for floors to be occupied on 2,3,&4, and unloading bay and offices on 1st floor. First floor to be completed with work and finishes, contractor to mark unfinished areas of first floor with caution tape to prevent entry into unfinished areas. All inspections to be final with trades prior to building inspection final. Call for final inspection when all is completed.
