In wall fire stops completed, bracing added to high wall extension as required at inspection. Viewed floor openings that need to be filling with concrete, metal patch installed to underside and wire tied into existing slab… as to fill with concrete.

Final inspections needed for the remaining areas of this space, occupancy is not granted for the full space. Corrections: 1) storefront needs to have doors installed to comply with exiting and the separation rating of the mall design for which this mall was built and the code requirements it falls under. The city will grant 30 days to have the doors installed, if this time limit is not sufficient the owner and general contractor can ask for an extension of time. 2) occupancy signage is needed along with accessibility signage for the bathrooms. 3) paint doors or frames to delineate the exits and show contrast from the same color of painted walls. Call in for all final inspections for trades permits and this building permit when all is ready.

New entry doors are on order and are set to be delivered the last week in October 2022. Installation to take place after arrival. Inspection of door and items listed are required for the final. 1) inspection of new entry doors. 2) Door frame in the studio at exit to be painted white to have contrast from the black wall color. Frame at the 2nd level exit door bar level to also have frame painted white to contrast black wall color.

Temp occupancy will be in effect until 12/1/22 to allow for shipping , and installation of doors. Any extensions of this temp occupancy will need to be brought forth and approved by the City Building Official/ Manager.

New front doors installed as per requirements with level 4 storefront rating. 1) Doors need bottom sweeps. 2) test on doors with fire alarm activated partially worked on 3 of the four doors, will have to retest and make sure all doors close on alarm activation. 3) coiling gate is still in place but is deactivated from power, removal of unit per the agreed email from project architect is yet to be done. 4) sprinklers to be moved closer or different heads to be installed to comply with the water wash requirements for rating the doors. This permit is still on a Temp CO until completion of this work has been approved.

Front entry doors work and test properly on fire alarm testing. Sprinkler heads have been moved closer to doors for a sprinkler wash . Approved. Coiling door is not connected to power anymore and is not functional at this time, it will be left in place and will not be used. OK to patch holes and install break metal . Final for this permit approved
