Mock up unit #838 only…. Framing of wall bump out for electrical panel. Approved. Also went over fire stops and the requirements there of when doing this conversion change to the units and floors. Mold is definitely present at exterior walls under the windows and around the heating pack. Remediation has not started as of yet. Went over mold issues and rusted studs at the open corridor wall, talked with contractor about cleating a new stud next to studs that show excessive rusted stud to maintain integrity of the wall this will be required as needed.

Viewed the plumbing chase fire stop prep to units with the exposed chase at floors 10-14. Verbal to contractor to add bracing under the metal plate where loose and they can mix and set the 3M fire stop product. Will re-inspect these with the framing inspection.

12 floor room approved for final … 1241,1231,1201,1203. Fire inspector verified on this day that the CO2 detection system is active and under system supervision. CO2 detectors are not going to be required in the remaining units while system is in place. Ceiling framing and fire stops that are visible approved from west end hallway up to and including units 1420 &1434. Unit 922 water damaged unit framing and mold removal… approved and ok to reinstall gypsum board.
