As per metal stud framing requirements, flanges on each side of stud need to be fastened to top and bottom tracks. There are many studs at the exterior side of building that are not fastened to bottom track around the perimeter of building walls. The inner flange is also not fastened to bottom track around perimeter walls. Where unable to fasten studs, a metal clip can be used that anchors to stud and is shot or screwed to concrete... see stud manufacturer requirements for the proper metal clips. Interior framing also follows the same requirements. Studs are fastened on only one side where both sides need to be fastened. Slotted bottom track used in place of 1" track, the studs will still need to be fastened to both sides of the stud flanges in track. Deep leg track used but not for deflection where used, will also require studs to be fastened at bottom flanges and at top tracks. Call for reinspection when this has been corrected.
