This was a meeting with fire inspector and contractor about the proposed wall(s) to be built to close off the stairway and elevator and convenience stair at the floors. By doing so, there are stsyems that are affected and would need to be separated. There is also issues with needing access to the closed areas where electrical and maybe dampers and such would need to be serviced. The designer needs to be present for another meeting and have this set up with the inspectors before any work starts so these issues can be addressed.m

Wall in front of elevator that closes off this space to the lower level and the wall along the back stair access to lower level approved. Both walls are double layer of 5/8" gypsum on one side. note... the existing wall section the new wall at back stairs ties into needs to also go full height to deck to close off the space. Complete this wall section and call for final inspection.

Not ready for final inspection, see framing inspection notes. The existing wall at rear starway that leads to the lower level needs to be framed up to deck for the full separation. Call for final inspection when this is completed and when space is stocked .... final walk through of space will need to be done prior to opening.

Fire inspection has corrections to be completed. Call for final inspection once space is set up and everything is completed. Wall at stairwell is completed and approved. Approval to set up and stock for this space. Call for final when ready.
