PHASE 1 - Polar Semiconductor is proposing an interior remodel of existing buildings P1, P2, and P3 and a 3,750 square foot electrical room addition between buildings P2 and P3. The project aims to improve Polar Semiconductor’s manufacturing capabilities and increase the production of semiconductor products. This permit application is for Phase 1 scope of work only. The project will be executed throughout multiple phases with construction occurring over the course of multiple years. Roughly ninety percent of the scope of work is interior remodeling, mechanical/electrical upgrades, and tool installations for Polar Semiconductor’s manufacturing processes. The electrical room addition includes on-grade exterior transformers within an electrical yard. There will be modifications to the site to reconfigure underground utilities and provide additional hardscape and softscape, including a safety fence at the perimeter.
