Need fire alarm devices in 1st floor restaurant/bar area. No fire alarm permit pulled by the electrician for the devices that were relocated. Remove tape in 1st floor sim room (south side). Replace ceiling tiles in janitor closets. Found at least 2 emergency light/sign combos not working/broken. No emergency light testing completed.

Due to the occupancy change of the second level from "B" to "Assembly" ( A-3) the most restrictive occupancy requirements would be enforced and the requirements for the Assembly occupancy would be required. 2nd floor... 1) Occupancy signage needed and to be posted by main entry area within the occupancy. panic Hardware is required at the stair exit doors. 2) for assembly occupancy 50 or over in people, exit doors are required to have panic hardware. 3) battery backup power to exit signs to be working and checked at next inspection. Call city to set up final inspection for building final with fire inspector and building inspector.

For today's inspection results, a Temp Occupancy will be approved for a period of 10 days as agreed upon between building, and fire inspector. See outstanding comments listed in this inspection results. Inspection required for final of permit, call and set up inspection with the city.

I conducted a fire alarm test today for new devices added at the above address. The new devices in the bar tested ok, however 2 of the horn strobes on the 2nd floor north end did not. LVC technicians on site were not able to fix the problem which is most likely due to a power issue. They replaced 1 device with one from the 3rd floor office area to get the minimum working. They will need to repair/replace all devices and ensure the fire alarm system is working. Several new exit signs/emergency lighting installed could not be tested because they had not charged for a minimum of 24 hours so they were not working when power was shut off. All the kick stands were removed from the stairwell doors. The fire alarm contractor will need to apply for another fire alarm permit for the new work/devices that need to be added. Several ceiling tiles in the IT room need to be replaced. Panic hardware needs to be added to the 2nd floor stairwell doors. 10 day temp occupancy issued by B & I
