Accessibility is not compliant with this Kiosk. If ramp is to be used it needs to be wider, space around center cabinet does not allow wheel chair maneuvering or access. If no access into kiosk for handicapped persons, then the cashwrap counter needs to be lowered to comply with accessibility, measured from mallfinished floor to top of counter. Due to this being a raised platform and it appears to have entry from many areas, this may be considered a step... in which case a handrail will be required. Please adjust as necessary and call for reinspection.

Accessibility is compliant on inside of the kiosk style space. The raised platform is a step up from the mall floor by 2.5" and the design was for people to enter at any opening. This would not comply with code requirements. Now that it is brought to the attention of the mall , they will place weighted objects at the openings to block access in and out of the openings (not including the ramped opening). This will be sufficient to comply with the code requirements. A recheck of this will be done when the objects are in place. This kiosk build is approved for final pending the follow-up inspection.
