Artistry Theater and Visual Arts is partnering with the Mall of America (and other partners, including COB Creative Placemaking) to install a temporary art exhibition onsite in the Atrium at the Mall of America. This will include fire-treated plywood arches, covered in a Class A fire-rated vinyl, and sprayed with Class A fire stop paint. These ratings have been passed along and approved by the Mall and the Fire Marshall. The interior of the arches will be weighed down with sandbags, at the required weight per arch as calculated and approved by the artist's engineers and the Mall of America's engineers (560# per arch counterweight for stability). The art has been fully constructed offsite, and will be moved onsite for display. No construction will occur in the space.
