Remove and dispose of coping metals, scuppers and downspouts. Remove and dispose of wall, pipe, and curb flashings. Vacuum all loose gravel from roof. Cut the existing BUR into grids for expansion purposes. Install new control joint wall to separate the old BUR roofing from the new PVC roofing systems. Install one new layer of 1" polyiso insulation, increasing the R-value of the system by 5.7. Install new 60 mil mechanically fastened Sarnafil PVC roof system per manufacturers requirements. Install new flashings at all walls. penetrations, pipes, curbs, and scuppers per manufacturer requirements. Install new 24ga edge metals with keepers, plus new downspouts.
