Corrections... 1) smoke detector needed for bedroom. 2) basement stairs are not of egress width, and basement is not going to be an area of which will be used by anyone other than the head of house to do laundry... this area will not be a part of the areas being used for foster care. Call fire inspector for verify smoke detector when installed.
