In P3 Upper Mechanical Area, place the components of Substation #3 on housekeeping pads, this would include the Medium Voltage Main Switch, 4000kVA dry transformer and mating 480V panelboards. This will also include the 480V / 208Y 500Kva transformer w/Main, as well as the 208Y / 1600A distribution panel and the 480V / 800A distribution panel, assemble per manufacturer’s instructions. Extend the 13.8kV 150A feeder conduit from its current location at floor level on the North side of the first floor Phase2 expansion cleanroom area and extend feeder conduit up (~32 feet) to the Upper Mechanical Level and route to the location of the new Substation #3, Medium Voltage Disconnect Main switch. From the new S&C gear in the Northwest corner of the main electrical room, BAY1: Provide a 13.8kV feeder to the unit substation Medium Voltage Disconnect switch. a. Conductors shall be #1/0, CU, 15kV, EPR, lead free, 133%, MV-105, tape shield Southwire spec 46302 or approved equivalent (alternate suppliers mentioned above). b. Conduit for 13.8kV feeder shall be painted red and labeled “HIGH VOLTAGE”. Lettering height shall be approximately 25% of the circumference of the conduit. Labels shall be in each room the conduit passes through and shall not exceed 50’ spacing between labels. • Extend the 13.8kV conduit from its current location at floor level on the South side of the first floor Phase 1 cleanroom, up the wall ~10’ to a future tap box (provided). o Provide 13.8kV feeder from new S&C gear in the Northwest corner of the main electrical room, BAY2 to the tap box added above, conductors to follow same specification above. From Substation#3 run circuits to locations for: • One (1) 480V / 800A circuit to the main inlet on the 208Y 500kVA transformer w/Main. • Connect the output of the 500kVA 208V transformer to the 1600A distribution panelboard. • One (1) 480V / 800A circuit to the inlet of the 480V / 800A distribution panelboard.
