Republic Services is hosting it's annual RODEO this fall on October 12th, 2024. We will be utilizing metal bleachers for those in attendance and Kelly Beyer, the City of Bloomington plans examiner has requested that we file this permit. In total we will have 500-600 attendees throughout the six hour event. Many of them coming and going through the morning and into the early afternoon. Small cell antennae to be placed on light poles in the parking lot areas f the Mall of America. Verizon Wireless intends to remove and replace (6) existing parking lot light poles with structurally adequate poles of the same style, diameter, color and height. Small cell antennae and equipment will be placed on poles. A shroud enclosure of a similar color to the pole will be placed over the antennae and equipment. The purpose of the installations is to provide outdoor distributed antenna service to cellular carriers on the Mall of America DAS network. The parking lots are north of the mall and east of the mall.
